Built for service, not for a spreadsheet

Tickets to the right screen, bills that split without an argument, and a menu you can reprice in one go before Friday.

The kitchen

How do tickets reach the right section?

SmartAI POS routes tickets by category, so each screen or printer only shows what that section actually makes. Elapsed time sits on every ticket, so the one that’s been waiting six minutes is obvious from across the pass.

  • RoutingBy category, to screens or printers or both
  • ModifiersShown on the ticket, not buried in a note
  • NotesFree text follows the order through to the pass
  • DocketsPrinted at payment, or at order — your call
  • TimersElapsed time per ticket, longest first

The table

Can customers order without waiting for you?

A QR on the table, the menu on their own phone, the order straight into the same system. No tablet to buy, no third-party platform taking a cut, and the kitchen ticket looks identical to one rung up at the counter.

You choose what’s available online and at what price — the online menu doesn’t have to be the full menu.

  • Guest menu by QR, controlled from the back office
  • Customer display shows the order as it’s rung up, with your promo slides between
  • Digital receipts by QR, so the paper roll lasts the week
  • Split bills by item or evenly, at the table

It lands on the same screen

Routed by category like any other ticket. The kitchen can’t tell the difference, which is the point.

Questions

Running a kitchen on it

Can we split a bill six ways at the table?

Yes — by item or evenly, across as many payments as you need, and with different tenders on each. It works offline too.

Do modifiers slow the staff down?

They’re prompted in the order you configure them, so a burger asks about the pickle once and moves on. You can also build combos so a meal deal is one button rather than three.

Can we run two kitchen screens?

As many as you have sections. Routing is per category, so grill, fryer and barista each see only their own tickets.

Do we need a tablet on every table for QR ordering?

No — customers use their own phones. You need a printed QR per table and nothing else.

Is rostering included?

Rostering is on Pro. The time clock, corrections and labour-vs-sales reporting are on both plans. See the comparison.
